Education and Training

CRCC provides information, education, and training to community members, and other non-government members, government agencies, service providers and schools about the causes effects and responses to sexual violence against women, children and men. Sessions are designed specifically to meet the needs of the requesting agency. These range from basic sexual assault information to more advanced or specific areas.

  • issues to consider in counselling
  • group work
  • case studies

Information sessions and talks for school students in the ACT and surrounding region cover:

  • group work for young people in schools
  • term long programs on gender and violence for ACT schools or tertiary institution

About us

The Canberra Rape Crisis Centre (CRCC) is a non-government, feminist organisation working collaboratively within service provision systems in the ACT and surrounding areas to provide services and programs to eliminate sexual violence against women, young people, children , and men.

We provide a crisis counselling line, Indigenous community support, counselling to victims and their families, and community education programs.

CRCC is committed to excellence in service provision, access and equity, diversity and social justice.
